Letterpress printing in Canada just got a lot more accessible. I’ve been getting the same message over and over: “I already have my invitation designed — can you just print it?” And for a long time, my answer was no. Today, that changes.
Press Ready letterpress printing — your design, my press.
If you’ve been dreaming of letterpress wedding invitations — that beautiful, tactile finish you can actually feel with your fingertips — but you already have a design you love, Press Ready was made for you.
Press Ready is my new letterpress printing service for couples and creatives who are design-ready and want their stationery printed the right way. You bring the file. I bring the craft, the ink, and the press.
“Letterpress isn’t just a printing method — it’s a feeling. The weight of the paper. The depth of the impression. The kind of detail that makes guests stop and say, ‘wait, feel this.’”
Hand-mixed inks, cotton paper, real impression — that’s letterpress.
Press Ready sits alongside my existing Custom and Semi-Custom design services as a third way to work together. It’s designed specifically for clients who already have a finished invitation design — whether created by a graphic designer, a stationery studio, or even themselves — and want it brought to life through professional letterpress printing.
Here’s how the three services compare:
Designed together from the very beginning. Every detail crafted specifically for you. Learn more →
A beautiful template personalized with your details, colours, and wording. Learn more →
You already have your design. Bring it to me and I’ll print it the way it deserves.
Press Ready is perfect for couples who have worked with a graphic designer or stationery studio on their invitation design and want professional letterpress printing in Canada. It’s also ideal for creatives and DIY brides who designed their own invitations and want a finish that goes far beyond what a home printer or digital service can offer.
If any of these sound familiar, Press Ready is for you:
✦ You have a finished invitation design in AI, PDF, or vector format.
✦ You want real letterpress printing — the texture, the impression, the craft.
✦ You’ve been told your Canva file “should work” for printing, and you want to know the truth.
✦ You care about quality and want your invitations to feel as beautiful as they look.
Canva files are not press-ready. Letterpress printing requires high-resolution vector files with specific colour separations that Canva simply cannot produce. But don’t worry — file conversion and press preparation is included as part of the Press Ready service. You bring me your Canva export or design file, and I’ll handle the technical prep to make sure every detail prints beautifully.
Press Ready follows a clear, straightforward process from file to finished invitation:
Fill out the Press Ready questionnaire and send me your design files. I’ll review everything and prepare a custom quote based on your suite, paper choice, ink colours, and quantity.
Your files are converted and prepped for the press. I’ll send you a digital proof to review and approve before anything is printed. Every detail is checked — no surprises.
Your colours are hand-mixed at the ink bench to match your palette exactly. No pre-mixed, off-the-shelf colours — every batch is custom.
Your invitations are printed on the letterpress — real pressure, real impression, real texture. Printed on cotton or handmade paper for a finish that digital printing simply can’t replicate.
Your finished suite is carefully packaged and shipped directly to you via Canada Post, ready to address and send to your guests.
Every ink colour is hand-mixed to match your palette exactly.
Ideal files: Adobe Illustrator (.ai) or high-resolution PDF with vector artwork and outlined fonts. Separate files per ink colour are helpful but not required — I can prepare the colour separations as part of the service.
Canva files: Canva exports (.png, .jpg, or .pdf) are accepted, but file conversion is required before printing. This is included in the Press Ready service. The quality of the final print will depend on the resolution and detail of your original design.
Not sure if your files will work? Send them over anyway. The questionnaire includes a file upload field and I’ll review everything before providing your quote. You can also get in touch directly if you have questions before booking.
Every Press Ready order begins with a file conversion fee, followed by printing priced by quantity. All prices are in Canadian dollars. Shipping is quoted at checkout.
Your Canva suite is rebuilt in Adobe Illustrator — fully press-ready. Covers all three pieces (invite, details, RSVP) and includes a digital proof before printing begins.
